"LivingSocial was a good company to gain knowledge from a variety of departments but they lost track a few years ago. I can't see the company lasting more than another year - there's little direction and focus and after the past layoffs I believe they are hanging on by a thread."

"Message to senior leadership: great job running this company into the ground. $1 billion with a B venture capital invested and we're excited to only lose $183 million in 2013. Mass layoffs only happen once a year which is nice. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY. It's not like you have a choice because they just fired everyone employee in CA. Can you save severance? Ebay CEO can't save you now."

"I have worked for LivingSocial for 3+ years. Overall my experience has been good, but the past 13 months have been a steady decline in my experience and in LS's success. There have been improvements in communication from our CEO, but manager-employee communication is terrible. Promotions and raises have been non-existent, and career growth/paths not available."

"LivingSocial is a remarkable place to work but it lacks structure and organization internally as well as experience. It put's a lot of stock into personal character and the culture of the company where it should invest in the skills of individuals. That being said, the innovation that is taking place here is second to none and it is really a pleasure to be a part of something so new!"
