"I worked for Hewlett Packard for 18 yrs. and very much enjoyed it. I also spent a total of 13 yrs. as a contractor @ HP. It's a great place to work and I got a bit spoiled by them. It has certainly changed over the years, but it is a world class company."
"To understand my perspective on Lionbridge, I must make this two-fold. My manager is unlike any I've worked with before and grants her team a lot of latitudes and trust, as well as showing true compassion for us as her employees. The work itself isn't bad, but being a contractor we lose a lot of freedom and our day to day operations can struggle due to inconsistencies with our PO owner. The top down structure of the actual company leaves a lot to be desired when considering proper channels of communication and the dissemination of information. Management doesn't seem to promote from within or employ the proper people for managerial roles. The pay isn't great, but isn't terrible. The office I worked in before COVID was older than myself, and reflected it. Our managers are not quick to properly deal with issues in the workplace."
"I've been working for lionbridge now more than a year. Even remotely I can tell they have a good understanding of our needs and they're always looking forward to hearing from us and helping to keep our work good even with aggressive deadline. They have a very good ticket system for employees, pay good and in time. I recommend that employer because they know we are humans not numbers or just machines. In contrast to much other big companies the CEO is extremely accessible and always answer anyone who contact him. All people evolved on lionbridge are extremely polite and receptive."
"Great company, benefits, and clients"
"I've worked for Gengo and Gengo.ai, which became Lionbridge.ai for over a year. I absolutely loved working with my boss and my amazing team. It was a good experience that taught me a lot. I really believed we had a solid edge over our competitors, so it was easy for me to sell the services. The culture was localized and my team culture was very healthy and made work-life balance seem, seamless."
"It's a good company which provides to lean a grow on the latest technologies. It's a good place to work."
"I worked at Lionbridge for 4 years in which I developed good skills, working in a good environment and with talented people"
"I have not enjoyed my time at Lionbridge mainly due to leadership."
"This is good to start the career for freshers, however, experienced people should move on, as lack of opportunities in the organization."
"I have worked for the last 6 months in a good environment."
"I have worked for Lionbridge for the last 5 years. It's an excellent place to work and they provide a lot of room for growth. The managers and HR are very cooperative and have always helped whenever I needed their help. Having said that, I would like to point out that Lionbridge follows a very orthodox approach to the development process and might not be for everyone, especially people coming from a startup environment."
"I've worked with the company for over 13 years. The company promotes integrity on the workplace, which I very much value and appreciate. The company has offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The relationships with my co-workers has always been very respectful and supportive."
"This company hires many part-time and as-needed employees or flex employees. I would not recommend a flex employment but would highly recommend a full-time position. This company does not pay competitively but they are not the worst either. Overall, the management is good to work with."
"The job is relatively administrative and does not challenge my program and project management skills. However, the environment and work rules are good and supportive. My manager is also very supportive of my needs in the role."
"I've worked for Lionbridge Technologies for a year and believe their focus is not on their employees. Workplace and efficiency improvements are last on their list. The employees are not encouraged to think actively and independently. They are held strictly to follow the most basic of instructions without thought."
