"I love the people, products, and opportunities. . We received discounts on several items at least twice a month. I remember I was employed by them doing Katrina and they went above and beyond to help. They paid us for a month, provided us with gift cards to replace or lost clothing, and they also gave us a 65% discount to use. This was one of the only jobs I've had were I knew my employer cared. I like that limited put their employees first"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be honest and as up front as possible the limited brands are a big family and they really do understand others. Leave your troubles at home so enjoy working for a good company."
What don't you like about working at Limited Brands?
"I loved everything about that job as far as the company goes. However, when management changed lots of things changed with it."

"Respect is a two way road with dead ends at each end."

"I like my fellow coworkers. At the time when I was in school it did not interfeer with school, as well as personal life."

"My managers were leniant but at the same time hard working, and when it came time to working hard I respected my managers so I did."

"The tools given to you to, to help you in your role are very and extremly useful."

"Be prepared and be have your documents to back up your facts."

"The amount of travel."

"Continue to partner with your LP professionals and communicate."

"Great company culture at the DM level and above....along with great brands really helped in the selling process...especially for the associates in the stores. I found most store managers to be hardworking and enthusiastic about the company more than any other retailers I have worked for."

"Nuff said..."
What don't you like about working at Limited Brands?
"Unfortunately that culture did not reach down to the store level as it should at least in our region. There was more push given to the DMs in catching people doing things wrong or bombarding them with questions on store visits and calls. The Ops manual, LBOS, was used as a brick instead of a great teaching and coaching tool for what it was. Also too much emphasis on selling than on running a business for profit (i.e. managing controllables, labor, etc). The company had no P&L to manage at store or DM level."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Only 2. First, ensure that the great Limited culture (it biggest strength) finds its way down intact to the stores and associate level...keep regional and district managers accountable for that and secondly give the SM, DM and RM a P&L to manage so they are accountable for the whole business and not just Sales."

"Company hired most positions from outside and recent college grads. They did not spend enough energy and time to promote from within."
