Stop building so many locations until you have the basics down in regards to the spa business. Spa department heads don't have a private give and have to do the majority of their work from the front desk at the spa leaving employees to hear many conversations that are managerial that they shouldn't. There should also be a break-room so that food doesn't always have to be eaten (and purchased) from the cafe. GM's should not be able to be a GM until they have worked in all areas of the club, and can manage the spa (or at least watch it) if the department head has someone call out and have been there for 15 hours.

2.5 This job will not offer you a steady income. Don't expect to make more than minimum wage for the first 3-6 months at least. They cut down your hours to 38/week, even when you have to work at least 50-60 so you don't end up owing the company more money. Supervisors are not willing to take responsibility for teaching you, and use an idealistic approach. "If you're not selling, it is your fault!" The company preaches that we are helping people achieve their goals when they do not offer their staff normal hours (how can we teach a healthy way of life when we don't have it?) and focus on selling more than helping. Members are scared to talk to the staff because they are worried we are going to sell them something. Unfortunately, after making almost the same annual income as a burger flipper at Burger king, the main reason for the poor review is because of the supervisors and corporate. You can ask for more help or resources but expect to be on your own and fighting them every step of the way to just be able to do your job. Don't be lured by the promises that lifetime will offer you. The organization does not want turnover so they keep unqualified people in management positions. Think many, many times before taking a job with this organization.

1.9 Very high expectations for job performance with most trainers having four-year degrees and multiple certifications. Plenty of micromanaging and plenty of incentive to push products and “healthy” expenses. Very low wages. Greedy corporation keeping most of the profits for its shareholders as per usual.
