"One reason that I don't like working with this company is the quality of the agents because of the competition among us."

"The management is excellent and there is no need for suggestions."

"The opportunity for unlimited income."

"Non flexible hours, no choice of sales territory or cost balancing job."

"Compensate for job costs: hotel, gas, car allowance."
What do you like about working at AIG?
"The name recognition and products were excellent. These two items were key in my 'closing ratio' which was in the 70% region and 90% of my cases were closed in the initial presentation with clients."

"As for anyone coming into to the Insurance it is incumbent upon the agent to learn the product(s) and take the initiative to develop a book of business."
What don't you like about working at AIG?
"What is found difficult about working with AIG was the compensation schedule, it was very complicated and contained too many qualifiers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"As a 'captured agent' you realized that for a large organization that AIG management was active and did respond to the agents in a positive manner. As for suggestions, the under writing process needed to be more timely."

"The hours were very hectic, and would sometimes find myself in unsafe homes and neighborhoods."

"Flexible hours, 3 year learning program, and supportive coworkers."

"Flexible hours can turn into working all of the time, no salary so little financial security, and an unreliable manager."

"Don't try to deceive your employees in hopes of a short term gain in numbers (this suggestion goes to my manager, because the rest of the managers get only positive reviews)."
