"I've worked for them for 3 years and they are a first rate organization."
"I've worked with Levy Restaurants for the past 5 years at the Moda Center. They provided me the freedom and opportunity to create a unique role where I could utilize my skills and tenacity towards many projects and problems around the Rose Quarter venues. I did whatever was necessary to get the job done with attention to detail and integrity towards maintaining health code and fire code standards. This role has allowed me to meet with all sorts of people form business VPs, to outside contractors, and even school volunteers that operated the stands."
"Levy Restaurants specialized in Food and Beverage and had a retail division. This is where I worked. I was able to start a brand new division of cultural-based sales in the Current Professional Sports Division. They were a good company and took great care of their employees. Noting but the best for this Company."
"This is a great place to work for someone that loves people!"
"I’ve worked for Levy restaurants since 2017 and throughout my journey they I’ve noticed that they take chances on there employees as far as promotions. I enjoyed my employees who have worked for me and will truly miss them"
"I worked for the company a little bit over two years and it was an amazing experience. As an individual, I was pushed to grow for the betterment of my team. Every day there was a new event that allowed me to engage with many people across the world. The employer always provided multiple teaching lessons through pop-ups, vendors & board member visits."
"Levy is the largest concessionaire in the sports and entertainment industry. As a leader, Levy is well-respected by operators and teams alike."
"This place does not have job tracking system. Scopes were changed without my inputs. Overall, management has little experience in managing IT projects."
"If you don't mind working 3-4 weeks straight only to get one day off that your supervisor treats like a coveted gift, then this is the place for you. A tyrannical director of operations who has the respect of not a single one of his managers will throw someone under the bus to save his own behind. They preach family first at this company but it's all lip service."
What do you like about working at Levy Restaurants?
"It works around the hours of any other positions that I may have at other companies, therefore providing a little bit of extra income to do a little bit more."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Others interviewing for this company need to realize that this job just isn't going to pay the bills on their own, & that they will need another job besides this to make ends meet. Also, they need to realize that these people don't care if you're homeless & won't give you more hours no matter what, & that they won't get the breaks required by law at this job & may have to work a lot of hours with no break & if they smoke no cigarettes for a long time."
What don't you like about working at Levy Restaurants?
"They do not provide enough hours for me to pay rent & utilities. Even when I combine what I'm making at CSC over at Lucas Oil & what my husbands making at his mechanic shop, even then we aren't making enough money to pay rent. Plus they keep giving more hours to other employees & giving me days off instead of letting me work because they just don't care if we're homeless living at my husbands mechanic garage. They only care about themselves."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To provide more hours for those who need it & not for those who don't really need it. For example, not having people who's money is just going to help some charity work instead of people who really need the money. Letting those people who work a lot of hours at other jobs have more time off so they don't wind up too tired because they really have all they need for their basic needs & just want extra spending money when others really need money."
