"Great company to work for, you can move upward based in your results. There is great mobility, with the right credentials you can work as an expatriate. You can develop systems in Lear. I used to think of Lear as a second rate company, but it has evolved to became one of the main players as automotive supplier."

"Lear is an good company to work for but there is room for improvement. I liked working for Lear but there was no room for growth or promotions. It is a company that brings in people from overseas before looking within for promotions."

"Overall a good employer providing a fair wage for a fair day's work. Good points were Lear's generosity with paid time off and their matching 401K program. The downside was their refusal to allow my wife to participate in their group medical insurance plan. Lear's excuse? We have a private certificate of domestic partnership as opposed to their required public marriage certificate. Though illegal to discriminate between the two under state laws, Lear claimed exemption by virtue of a federal ERISA program and not having any federal contracts."

"Good company, good money and good benefits. This location has been on 6 day work weeks for several years, sometimes 7. It's steady work for your entire shift. People are ok, supervisors are descent, not much communication from upper management. Work is not too hard."
