"I've worked for LA Fitness for 4 months and I love the laid back team. We all work together with making it fun, productive and safe for our clients. Being in the fitness industry has always been a part of me so I'm happy that I'm able to share my love for fitness with others."
"I’ve worked with LA Fitness since 2013 starting in customer relations and quickly transferring to digital marketing. I am passionate about what I do and would love the opportunity to bring my skill set to this position."
"I am a current student at MCPHS university getting a Bachelors in Healthcare management. Hoping to one day work in major hospitals with human resources. Volunteering at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has taught me a lot of skills with communication, computer, and management skills. This is giving me a huge stepping stone to my career, and putting me one step closer to working in the management field."
"I’ve worked for LA fitness for about 2 years now and have been extremely lucky to work along side some really great coworkers as well as district managers and Vice Presidents and learn from them. If you’re looking for an opportunity to grow your sales experience, this is definitely a place to check out."
"Excellent atmosphere. The staff is friendly and very helpful"
"I’ve worked for LA Fitness for 7 months now. I started off as a personal training counselor and have gotten promoted every month since I started working for the company. I am now a personal training director. My main job is to tell our personal training programs, oversee all trainers, and most importantly keep clients happy & do what it takes to make sure they stick with the program. Although I’ve learned a lot of positive things from this job. This job does have its downsides. Long hours, low pay, they make it very difficult for you to reach your bonus, and it seems almost impossible for you to get promoted to corporate."
"Great company to work for. Only downside is the work life balance"
"It's an ok place to work, VERY security conscious and protective of user information."
"I loved working for the company because i learned a lot about management, leadership, and sales. The company CEO was rated number 2 worst CEO to work for. Since I was successful I was treated well but I know others that didn't do well were treated poorly."
"It is a work hard, play hard job. You start from the bottom and work your way up. There are a lot of ways to get promoted fast, the hours are insane, and honesty you will learn a lot. It really does ends with the point of who is training you, because there is a difference between being money driven and shady."
