"The team members are very smart and work mates are awesome. You will be challenged every day at work and seldom bored. Expect to work long hours as an employee. You will be asked to work over holiday weekends and not get paid for working them. Technically you will be paid for the holiday, but you will not be paid for the additional hours worked during the holiday week. 50+ hour weeks are common place."

"Former owners still work there and are great people, some of the newer employees are OK"

"Go 4 miles up the road to Northrup for a better work environment."

What don't you like about working at L-3?

"ALST sold out to L3 comm. and it became a corporate nightmare, everyone has tunnel vision as to what they see their job is and not the overall picture of the business, your just a number. Work 22-23 hours straight and go home and then have to explain to some HR bim-bo why you weren't there for your shift the next day."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Sell the company back to the founders..."

"L-3 is a great dynamic company, with great benefits and a stock purchase program. There is a tech support call number 24 hours a day when a tech is unsure of a problem. There are opportunities to move to other divisions when work is available within other divisions."

"At my location there is no real team spirit."
