"Stop with the "turn and burn" approach you have with road warriors. Every (2) years there is a mass exodus of Service Engineers and that's directly related to how the work horses are beaten down over and over again while the "do nothings" of the group are coddled. The good workers have a hard time getting weekends off and vacation time approved. Quit the micro management of the good workers and start looking a little more at the lesser techs. Hold the sub-par employees accountable for their shoddy work. Provide a company credit card for travel expenses - there's no reason a company of this size should expect us to float the costs of travel."
