"John K. Schleer 41 Whitehouse Avenue Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889 908-800-1346 Introduction: I have been involved in all phases of the construction industry since 1976. My career began as a carpenter apprentice in northern New Jersey. By 1982 I had advanced to a journeyman, followed by starting my own construction firm, John Schleer Builder Inc, located in Elkins, WV. I have always focused my attention to delivering to my clients a quality project, delivered on time and budget. The following is my current work history to date. Work History: 9-2017 to present – Employed by Koppenberg Enterprises out of Monroe, WA as a Project Coordinator. Our company primarily works in National Cemeteries throughout the country. We manufacture, deliver and construct Columbarium (above ground cremains’ units) for the Veterans Administration. Our projects range in cost from $1-$5M. My duties include, budgeting, scheduling and dealing with the VA and the GC on a given project. 1-2008 to 9-2017 – Employed by G&C Fab-Con, LLC out of Flemington, NJ as a senior Project Manager. G&C also primarily worked for the Veterans Administration on larger projects throughout the country. We took projects from design to complete high level projects in cemetery expansions and newly constructed cemeteries. Our projects ranged in value from $5-$35M. My duties included being the lead PM for the projects I was associated with. I took the projects from their inception to completion, I prepared estimates, budgeting, scheduling, all buy-outs of sub-contractors, QC and all related aspects of the projects. 2004-2008 – My sons and I owned a company named Spectra Construction.
