"I have worked at Kent State University for 2 years and was originally hired as the Telecom Manager and was recently promoted to Network and Telecom Manager. The current IS environment is strongly under staffed and overwhelmed with ongoing projects and unrealistic deadlines. The upper management does not show support or acknowledgement to their staff and personnel."

"I have been working in Kent State university for the past 3 years. Working in a research lab with several lab mates has been stressful yet a very good experience. The high competition and Stringent monitoring impacts a good amount of stress which taught me to work in a stressful condition. Overall a good experience but would not prefer this for a longer period."

Resident Assistant

"I've had a very positive experience working as a Resident Assistant at Kent State. I love the people I work with and get to live in a very nice building for FREE. With that being said, I do wish that our stipend were a little bit larger - especially considering that we're only allowed to work so many hours a week. It's very hard to afford other things such as a car with the small amount of actual money we earn. Nonetheless I'm very thankful for this role and view it as more than a job."
