"The employees work very well together. The managers do a very good job pushing to increase production and growth while maintaining a very conscientious awareness for the front line employees. Many of the contracted doctors lack drive and ambition which makes it harder to increase workflow."
"I'm not sure what had happened, but I came into a chaotic environment. Heavy turnover, watched people quit on their first week. They were hiring untrained assistants for $9/hr, and overworking them with no training. Nothing but bodies and cheap labor. I'd suggest bumping new hires up to closer to $12/hr, just to be able to stand the rude, mean doctors that will verbally beat on you. Then maybe $5 more to actually do the job. Great teamwork camaraderie between the assistants for the most part. Rude, mean doctors. Big power struggle between doctors and assistants. Doctors treated assistants like a king treats his jesters. Unclear expectations on what to do. You get taught one thing, then somebody else says, "So you're the one messing this up." Also, on Careerbliss it shows Dr. K as paying 35k a year (15% more) than the average salary for assistants. While I was there for 4 months, this was certainly not the case. Maybe the case with the supervisor, but all assistants were getting paid $9/hr. Which is $18k a year. Yeah, not even close."
