1.6The people are horrific sociopathic monsters with no moral compass at all, several upper managers have tried to change this but they have a lot of work to do. Employees who have been around long enough participate in campaigns of harassment that are legendarily brutal including:
Speeding up the pace of work on people they don't like until they burn them out
Playing nasty psychological games including persistent gaslighting and debility, dependency and dread. I've seen people who were purposely retrained like a pet dog because someone didn't like them. There was a manager who had an actual sit command for another employee, he would say "sit" and his employee sat like a dog on command.
There is an employee, Patrick Saint - Laurent, who was put on a completely fake ATM project because his managers wanted him to participate in a illegal activity where they took 20% of employees salary to spend at specific businesses. He wasn't aware of what he was involved in and asked for help from HR because the project did not look right.
After he contacted HR several employees in the 4 Metrotech Center office started recording his conversations and taking pictures of his screen when his head was turned or when he was looking in his bags. They posted pictures online mocking him for contacting HR and bragged about "Dominating a Wage Slave Ni**er". There is a chat room online dedicated to mocking and harassing this one person. Someone even left a threatening letter on his front door. I'm including pictures of some of the disgusting things that were leaked by his fellow employees. This was all leaked online.

I was in human resources for nearly a decade and these are the kind of horrific things I saw on a regular basis. I finally quit out of disgust and fear that I would be pulled into illegal activity.
3.2I am a full-time J.P. Morgan employee that works at Neovest, a wholly-owned subsidiary. In many ways, this unique workplace environment has produced mixed feelings about my job.
Some positives: The employees are very friendly and easy to work with, and the company is migrating away from cumbersome legacy platforms to containerized workloads. The compensation is above-average for the area as well.
Some negatives: The company is beholden to J.P. Morgan auditing requirements, but is not supplied the necessary resources or financial support to effect them without drastically affecting operational throughput. While most companies are leveraging cloud technologies, this runs afoul of certain financial auditing standards at J.P. Morgan, so everything is built in-house. Neovest lacks the headcount to support such an endeavor though, which has contributed to a truly insane amount of work falling to the operation teams.
5I have recently started an internship with J.PMorgan & Chase Co. and they are leading the way with diversity and inclusion programs. The firm has 40 offices and about 250,000 employers in the United States. The entire firm is dedicated to your personal and professional success and retention.
