The Role

The role of the Ownership Loyalty Advisor is to act as a dedicated resource forTesla owners. In doing so, you will educate, inspire and skillfully guide owners through the vehicle purchase and configuration process. Ownership Loyalty Advisors, have the opportunity to advise clients throughout North America, all while providing an exceptional experience. We expect members of this team to become experts in all Teslaproducts (vehicle and energy) and the direct-from-manufacturer sales model that has made Tesla an innovator in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, unshakable moral fortitude, and a strong awareness of appropriate behavior when supporting customers.


  • Respond to all reservation and new ownership inquiries from multiple contact channels in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior prospect experience that represents the Tesla brand values
  • Utilize a consistent contact process to follow-up, nurture, and close leads generated by marketing campaigns
  • Achieve company aims for vehicle order levels
  • Maximize and leverage phone time, including pre-call planning, and adhere to activity metrics
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources
  • Participate training and work with the technical departments to understand current vehicle and production talking points
  • Adhere to the required process, correctly utilize, update and maintain the integrity of information in Teslas CRM system and tools
  • Proactively work with retail store, delivery, and marketing team to ensure an outstanding customer experience
  • Provide suggestions for website improvements as well as provide feedback on marketing campaigns
  • Work on the continuous improvement of processes and procedures related with the purchase of a Tesla
  • Employee must seriously learn about the company and products related knowledge, and pass internal testing including but not limited to Jump Start and related test; otherwise he/she will not be able to meet the full time employees requirement
  • Escalate matters that require senior management concurrence in a timely manner to line management
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned, based on the business need


  • Bachelors Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Attention to quality and detail
  • Strong learning ability
  • Strong team-player
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities
  • Valid identification in the country in which you are applying

Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable

Tesla will provide guidance and monetary assistance in obtaining licenses. Licensing process must be initiated by the third week of employment. Failure to obtain a license by the second month of employment will result in termination.
