The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity. The Sales Operations Analyst will analyze sales and marketing data to provide valuable insights to the internal teams. Additionally, the Sales Operations Analyst will serve as a facilitator and liaison with other departments to address business needs from the Sales and Marketing team.
Optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and best practice sharing.
Engage and work with aligned operations teams and lines of business to more effectively achieve data needs and analysis results.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiate, drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers.
Ability to understand, create, and deliver top-quality, audience-appropriate communication.
Assist the Sales Operations Manager in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies to implement data enrichment processes to improve sales team's performance.
Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the sales and executive leadership teams.
Partner with IT teams to understand new capabilities available in Salesforce and train sales representatives to use these capabilities.
Apply data cleansing techniques to improve the quality and accuracy of contacts and accounts databases and develop processes and methods for acquiring net new names to our database.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Technology
0-2 years' experience
Experience with analytics and reporting
Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP (or similar CRM / ERP systems)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong to expert Excel skills
Access or Crystal experience a plus
Must be great communicator and responsive to the needs of current & prospective customers or sales teams
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
