Russell Tobin's client, a leading global company in the logistics and fulfillment industry, is seeking Warehouse Inventory Specialist to work onsite in Everett, WA. Job Summary: In this role you will be responsible for processing materials to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as procurement, planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying workloads and in various paths. In this role you are the bedrock of the operation and over time may learn to operate many different functions within the warehouse. You will start with one of the following paths and grow over time; Receive, Put-Away, Pick or Kit. Job Title: Inventory Planner Pay: $28.00-$30.00/hr - based on experience Schedule:Back Half Nights: Wed-Sat 3pm-1:30am (please note in August, this shift will change to a 5pm start)Front Half Nights: Sun-Wed 3pm-1:30am (please note in August, this shift will change to a 5pm start)Back Half Days: Wed-Sat 7am-5:30pm (please note in August, this shift will change to a 6am start)Front Half Days: Sun-Wed 7am-5:30pm (please note in August, this shift will change to a 6am start) Location: Everett, WA 98203 Contract Duration: 9 months, possible extension Responsibilities:Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.Use proprietary software and SAP ERP systems to virtually transact material.Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies.Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.Resolve individual work blockers and know when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.Learn new processes.Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.
