Adecco is recruiting for multiple Machine Operator positions with a client in Kirkville, NY. These are temp-to-hire positions, paying $16-17/hour depending on experience.
Your Role: Machine Operator
As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality precision parts that meet our customers' exacting standards. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on skills in a high-tech manufacturing environment, with the support of experienced mentors and a team-focused culture.
What You’ll Do
Load raw material into production machines and keep equipment running smoothly.
Monitor machine operations and report irregularities to senior staff.
Inspect parts according to quality plans to ensure they meet customer specs.
Document quality checks and production data accurately in our system.
Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure seamless transitions.
Move finished parts to designated areas after confirming quality.
Support the team by keeping your workspace clean, organized, and safe.
Grow With Us
Learn to make minor tool adjustments to maintain part quality.
Receive training in blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, and statistical process control (SPC).
Develop skills in machine maintenance and tool sharpening.
What You’ll Bring
A high school diploma or GED.
A strong desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing career.
Exposure to or interest in a factory or production environment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and printing routing cards.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout your shift.
Able to bend, crouch, and reach to handle parts and machine components.
Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
