Our General Surgical Unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in exceptional postoperative care for our general surgical patients. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and are trained in all aspects of postoperative care, including pain management, mobility, and bedside procedures. In this area, we especially value a comfortable and healing environment for each individual patient and their unique needs. This team will closely collaborate with local family practice physicians, hospitalists, as well as our surgeons.
Education - Required::Associated degree in nursing
Experience - Required:
2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience,working under the highest level of professional license, and must have1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
MS/TELE General Surgery 5S-NIGHTS
*Willing to accept locals at same rate 16801710 RN → Med Surg / Telemetry Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Certifications – Required::AHA BLS Licenses – Required Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted) NURSYS
