Oncology Infusion RN
Location: Lutherville, MD
Hours: Day 5x8
Local Pay: $60/Hour
Travel Pay:
Hourly: $21/Hour
Stipend: $1,652 a Week
40hr Gross: $2,492
48hr gross: $2,828
Contract Duration: 13
Job Summary:
RN will continually monitor patients throughout their treatment and intervene rapidly in emergent situations. The center provides a relaxed setting for patient-focused care in a supportive environment
· 40 hours, (5) 8 hour shifts
· 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
· Monday – Friday
· No Call
· No Weekends
· No Holidays
Experience:
RN license; 2 years RN experience; BLS ; Oncology infusion experience
Preferred: Epic experience (Epic and Epic’s Beacon ordering system); chemo/bio/Immuno therapy provider card required; ACLS and AED certified; previous travel experience; chemo/bio/Immuno therapy provider card required; Oncology infusion experience Ambulatory experience preferred; Travel experience preferred; Experience with Epic/Beacon·
must be very proficient at IV insertions and have ambulatory oncology experience with chemotherapy administration
SKILLS REQUIRED: peripheral intravenous insertion skills, peripheral blood drawing skills. Nurses must have skills in accessing, maintaining and de-accessing central lines, and through assessment skills for a variety of medical conditions with ability to provide ongoing patient education.
