What You’ll Do
As anOncology Veterinary Technicianyou’ll work closely with our board-certified oncologists to support patients throughout their treatment—from diagnosis through chemotherapy and follow-up. You’ll be a steady, compassionate presence for both patients and families.In this role, you will:
- Administermedications and chemotherapyunder the supervision of an oncologist
- Assist with diagnostics, includinglab work, imaging, and CT scans
- Support oncology appointments and help managepatient flow and scheduling
- Maintain accuratemedical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
- Provide empatheticclient communication and education
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingInternal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology
- Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care during every step of treatment
Who We Are Looking For
- Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician, Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS), or experienced veterinary assistant
- Experience in specialty medicine and/or oncology preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Confidence working in afast-paced, collaborative environment
- Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
- A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
