Responsibilities
As the Journeyman Equipment Mechanic, you will perform, arrange for, track and oversee the repair of small and large distribution utility equipment including gas and diesel powered, hydraulically operated digger/derricks, personnel buckets and other construction equipment with minimum supervision. You will have a focus and make priority cost efficient and limiting end user down time. Input maintenance records in a computer based maintenance system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have training and/or be an experienced a qualified automotive or mechanized construction equipment mechanic.
- Successful completion of standardized qualifying examination.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and focus on job scheduling.
- Must be a self starter and self motivated.
- Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of employment which includes completed written and driving tests.
