Technician Supervisor Benefits:

Shop Supervisor / Diesel Technician - $1,500/Week Plus Benefits

We're looking for an experienced shop supervisor and diesel mechanic/technician to lead maintenance operations and keep our fleet of late-model 2022 - 2023 tractors running strong. If you're hands-on, reliable, and ready to grow with a company that treats you like family, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise, train, and support a team of diesel techs and mechanics
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers
• Ensure all work meets DOT compliance, safety, and quality standards
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and after-hours emergencies (company phone provided)
• Serve as a lead technician on the shop floor, working hands-on approximately 50% to 60% of the time
• Perform mechanical repairs and diagnostics alongside the team
• Mentor and support other technicians through on-the-job training and guidance
• Occasionally, our mechanics may work in the shop over the weekend for urgent repairs
• Team members can be dispatched to assist with weekend breakdowns
• We coordinate with outside vendors to help speed up the repair process

Technician Supervisor Requirements:

• What You Bring:
• At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or shop lead
• Strong knowledge of heavy diesel engine diagnostics and repair
• Comfortable with shop leadership responsibilities
• Must have your own tools
• Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to Birmingham, AL 35211
