Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Defense Attorney with 7+ years of experience in civil litigation to join a dynamic and well-established legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional legal service.
What You’ll Do
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
- Conduct legal research and develop strategic case plans
- Negotiate settlements and manage client expectations
- Provide clear, strategic legal counsel and updates to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Stay current on legal developments and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership
- 7+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in defense
- Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation software
