Job Details
The Sales Representative will play a critical role in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders across our target markets. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across the Inland Empire, San Diego, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel and in-person engagement with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders including contractors, facility managers, distributors, and integrators in the fire, life safety, and security sectors.
Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new opportunities within the region.
Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and presentations to promote our product and service offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, operations) to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and forecasts using CRM software.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fire protection, life safety, security systems, or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across a wide range of stakeholders.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Comfortable with extensive travel across the Inland Empire, San Diego, Los Angeles, and adjacent areas (up to 75% travel).
Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
