Insurance CSR / Licensed P&C – Hybrid position

Benefits and Compensation:
· Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hour, NEGOTIABLE based on experience.
· Schedule: Monday through Friday (7:00 AM to 9:30 PM Eastern time) with a rotating Saturday shift (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Center team member, you will provide an outstanding service experience to independent insurance agents and their customers. This includes providing consultative service, educating customers, and offering personal lines P&C products to ensure their insurance protection. You will handle simple to complex customer inquiries, resolve escalated concerns, process policy and billing changes, and communicate underwriting guidelines. The role also involves full account review and advocacy discussions on all calls to ensure customer protection.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Handling all calls and making appropriate decisions with minimal assistance.
· Counseling, educating, and providing accurate insurance advice.
· Interpreting and verifying coverages and data.
· Recommending and securing additional coverage and providing insurance quotes.
· Reviewing incoming written correspondence and drafting responses.
· Processing policy change and issuance transactions.
· Following through on billing adjustments.
Required Qualifications:
· Active Property and Casualty license or Personal Lines (PL) Producer License is a must.
· Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
· 2+ years of experience in a Personal Lines and/or P&C industry role; call center experience is strongly preferred.
· Remote work experience preferred.
· Hardwired Ethernet connection speeds of 10 mbps upload and 50 mbps download are required.
· Strong customer service and decision-making skills, the ability to offer and close on needs-based coverage, and effective communication skills are essential.
· Proficiency with virtual technology and troubleshooting voice and computer system challenges (e.g., Avaya, NICE, POS systems).
