Job Details
This position will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift)
- Perform PM’s and repairs on Food Processing Equipment
- Electrical knowledge (VFD’s, power supplies, relays, contacts, etc.)
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct electrical problems
- Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Maintain concentration while performing tasks over period of time
- Knowledge of all elements of electricity
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English effectively in writing/orally
- Experience troubleshooting high (480) & low (24) voltage electrical circuits.
- Basic understanding of PLC’s and ladder diagrams. • Mechanical knowledge (shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, etc.)
- Ability to read electrical prints.
- Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic plant equipment
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalence Certificate
Preferred Experience
- In depth knowledge of PLC's, ladder logic, panel view programming and troubleshooting.
