Position OverviewWe are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Mental Health Professionals to join our team as 1099 independent contractors. A Professional License is not required for this position Location: Scranton, PA PayWeekly retainer pay for seeing 15 clients per weekAn additional 50/50 split on 16 or more sessions per weekRetainer pay supports: Paid time off Compensation for mandatory meetings, required supervision, no-shows, and paperwork Benefits of providing 1099 services for the Aaron CenterOwn your schedule, in office or hybridAssociation with an established organizationClients are referred to you, no worries about diminished caseloadsDedicated support staff to assist with scheduling and administrative needsSupervision, clinical consultation, and a professional networkAccess to an in-house psychiatrist and medical teamProvided electronic health record (EHR) systemNo rent or overhead feesBilling is managed in-house, daily billing cycleBi-weekly payment of retainer pay and provided servicesUtilities coveredNo responsibility for building maintenance or property liabilitySecure, accessible location with ample parking Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties:Conduct individual and family therapy sessionsPerform intake evaluations and assessmentsDevelop therapeutic relationships focused on recovery and wellnessProvide care across the lifespan, including children (training available if needed) Administrative Duties:Maintain timely, accurate documentation consistent with licensing, insurance, and company standardsCoordinate care with internal and external providersParticipate in clinical collaboration and supervision as required QualificationsA Master's degree in a recognized clinical discipline, including Social Work, Psychology, rehabilitation, Activity Therapies, or Counseling, is required.Must have completed an internship or practicum during your graduate programExperience with individual therapy and intake evaluations or similar services/careAssessment/diagnosis, coordination of care, documentation and critical execution of therapeutic modalities experienceTechnological proficiency and ability to navigate EHR systemsCommitment to high standards of clinical care and ethical practiceAbility and willingness to complete documentation within an established timeframeProfessional License not required Skills:ReliableNon-judgmental attitude with the ability to listen, empathize, and accept others.Excellent telephone and communication skills.Ability to work independently and cooperatively with patients, co-workers, and supervisors.Adherence to ethical standards.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Proficiency in English.Computer skills for electronic scheduling, billing, and future software use.
