Speech Therapist - Arches ABA Therapy

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, clinician-focused environment?

Arches ABA Therapy is a leading early-intervention ABA clinic located in Covington, LA. We specialize in serving children ages 2-6 diagnosed with autism and related developmental delays. We are excited to expand our interdisciplinary team by adding a dedicated in-house Speech-Language Pathologist to support our clients' communication goals through collaborative and individualized care.

Position Highlights:

  • Flexible schedule with a minimum of 26 billable hours per week
  • Compensation: $30-$35/hour, based on experience and selected schedule
  • Eligible benefits based on schedule selected: Healthcare, Paid Holidays, PTO, and SIMPLE IRA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our Clinic Director and BCBAs to create integrated, client-centered treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each child's developmental needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR system.
  • Engage regularly with families and care teams to support skill generalization and address questions or concerns.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture by supporting your colleagues and sharing expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current license through the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA)
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric experience and comfort working with early intervention-aged children (preferred)
  • Passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and making a lasting difference
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift and carry clients.
  • Must be able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to maintain a variety of stances (stand, kneel, crawl, squat) for an extended time.
  • Must be able to run for short distances.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity to type, use electronic devices, and manipulate small items such as toys.
  • Must have the visual acuity to read and comprehend written and electronic communication.
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly to communicate effectively.
