We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting and finance team. This position will play a critical role in our company's financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and cash flow management. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a dedicated team of professionals.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who can operate independently, as this is a standalone role within the accounting function. This position offers significant growth potential—both for the individual and the company. The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running and, ideally, brings manufacturing experience (though it’s not required). This is a fully onsite role with a fantastic team and company culture. Once established in the role, there’s potential for hybrid work and flexible scheduling.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
2. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Review and process entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
4. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, verifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
5. Oversee the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
6. Assist in the development of financial goals and objectives, as well as the overall management of the financial operations.
7. Support the financial decision-making process by providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis.
8. Ensure compliance with all internal processes, financial regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
4. Proven experience with financial reporting, account reconciliation, and cash flow management.
5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including the preparation of financial statements.
6. Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
8. Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for numbers.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
