Compensation & Benefits -
+ Salary: $130,000 – $185,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Lead and collaborate on project selections and bid strategy
+ Communicate directly with clients throughout the bid process
+ Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and business development functions
+ Analyze electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
+ Use estimating software (preferably ACCUBID) to prepare electrical estimates for new construction and remodels
+ Prepare and maintain detailed bid folders, RFI logs, and supplier/subcontractor quote reviews
+ Mentor and support junior estimators, contributing to team growth and development
+ Work with operations and preconstruction teams to ensure thorough, accurate, and timely bids
+ Lead project kick-off and hand-off meetings for awarded jobs
+ Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving alternatives
+ Review contracts to ensure alignment with bid scope and company clarifications
+ Support occasional evening events or client functions

Qualifications-

+ Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction, with estimating experience on projects up to $15M
+ Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and low voltage systems
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating platforms (ACCUBID preferred)
+ Leadership skills with a team-first mindset
+ Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
+ Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple bids at once
+ Willingness to commute to project sites as needed
+ Engineering familiarity and understanding of electrical codes preferred
