Job Overview:
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing our network systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role involves designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and Cisco ISE for secure network access control
Deploy and troubleshoot Aruba wireless solutions to ensure seamless connectivity
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations
Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards
Provide Tier 3 support for network-related issues
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
Collaborate with IT and security teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives
Essential Qualifications and Education:
5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role
Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco Routers and Switches
Proficiency with Cisco ISE for identity-based network access control
Hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless solutions, including deployment and troubleshooting
In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs)
Experience with network monitoring tools and performance optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience
CCNA, CCNP or related certification
Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, including policy configuration and threat management
