Job Title: Contract Manager -Legal - Attorney (Hybrid Role)
FTE Conversion Possible
Hybrid Work Model: Minimum 3 Days Per Week in Office (if required)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, generally 7 AM – 5 PM (flexible hours within this range)
Overview of the Role:
the specialist will draft amendments, negotiate terms, and route for approvals and signatures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead individual contract negotiations, communicating effectively and professionally with internal subject matter experts and business lines regarding contract issues and risk implications.
- Review existing agreements to identify language gaps, draft amendments, and negotiate changes accordingly.
- Navigate and utilize supporting applications such as Archer Risk Assessment, Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Tools, Microsoft Word, and SharePoint to gather relevant information.
- Work with various organizational levels, including managing committees and senior leadership.
- Take ownership of complex issues, collaborating across departments to find solutions and escalating when appropriate.
- Apply a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations affecting third-party contracting.
- Operate confidently in ambiguous situations and determine the best path forward.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve team processes and systems continuously.
- Maintain ongoing team engagement and serve as a resource for day-to-day improvements.
Skills Required:
- Advanced knowledge of legal and regulatory issues to negotiate effectively with third-party vendors and ensure compliance.
- Strong understanding and application of internal contracting policies, third-party risk policies, contracting procedures, and procurement practices.
- Detail-oriented problem solver capable of working independently and knowing when to seek guidance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and preferably familiar with contract lifecycle management tools like Agiloft.
Education / Certifications:
- Law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Pay Rate :- 45.00/hr.. - 52.00/hr.
