Speech-Language Pathologist in Olympia, WA

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 public school setting located in Olympia, Washington. This is a contracted role with onsite responsibilities throughout the contract duration.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
Participate in team meetings and provide consultation on speech and language development within the educational setting

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license, or willingness to obtain licensure prior to starting
Experience working with diverse student populations in a school environment preferred
Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively onsite in a school setting with flexibility and professionalism
