Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a small team of employment law attorneys
- Prepare, revise, and format legal and business documents with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage legal calendars, including court deadlines and appointments
- Electronically file court documents in both state and federal jurisdictions and coordinate service of process
- Arrange depositions and work with court reporters and videographers as needed
- Assist with incoming correspondence, scheduling, travel arrangements, and general clerical duties
- Maintain organized digital and physical files while ensuring confidentiality
- Track attorney time and support billing activities within firm systems
- Update contact records and assist with internal and external communications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; legal coursework or vocational training a plus
- At least five years of legal administrative experience in a law firm setting
- Strong knowledge of court procedures and e-filing platforms (state and federal)
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF tools
- Familiarity with legal billing systems (Aderant, iTimekeep, or similar) and document management software (iManage or NetDocuments)
- Position location is fully onsite in our beautiful Dallas, TX office
