Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Mountain Home, ID, supporting students from elementary through high school in a K-12 school setting. This is a contract role for the upcoming school year, offering hands-on experience delivering essential speech-language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language support
- Conduct thorough assessments and testing to identify student needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Deliver other speech pathology services in compliance with educational standards
Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or interest in pediatrics and school-based speech therapy
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare and educational environment
- Comfort with in-person service delivery; teletherapy experience is a plus
- Candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience are encouraged to apply
