As a Vice President in our Federal Tax Advisory team, you will lead client engagements, deliver comprehensive tax solutions, and play a key role in managing and developing our tax team. You will manage multiple projects with competing priorities, shape the client engagement experience and support the team’s growth through client service excellence and leadership. This position offers exposure to a diverse client base and tax matters, opportunities to develop expertise in areas of your interest, and pathways for internal career advancement.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Oversee and review the preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of tax compliance services.
  • Manage the delivery of tax consulting services to a wide range of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for tax planning and consulting services.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to pursue and secure new client opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop a team of senior associates, associates, and interns, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and teamwork across practice areas.
  • Uphold Kroll’s standards of quality, integrity, and inclusion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA, JD, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a focus on federal taxation. ASC 740 experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving tax issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships.
