MRI Technologist

Shift: Weekend Nights

Job Overview:

The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in patient care. This role is crucial for ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality in imaging procedures, and involves close collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position requires accredited certification, state licensure if applicable, and proficiency in basic life support techniques.

Requirements:

* Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
* Current registration as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completion of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Radiography) or by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
* State licensure if required by law.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a valid card in hand before the start date and good through sixty days of hire.
* ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification.
* Registered Radiologic Technologist credential.
* American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist credential.
