Join our Legal, Compliance, and Policy team at Intuit as we work to power prosperity around the world. You will report to Credit Karma’s legal team leader and collaborate closely with members across Intuit, playing a crucial role in developing features that provide faster access to money for our 140+ million members.

What you'll do:

  • You’ll get to help us to develop new features that give customers faster access to money.
  • You will assess legal risks and provide practical, velocity-driven guidance to stakeholders.
  • You will advise on new product features in a dynamic regulatory environment

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory issues in the lending and money movement space and communicate these to executives
  • Ability to handle complex commercial contracts and manage relationships with bank partners
  • Ability to offer actionable and practical advice to facilitate new initiatives and product features
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in law firms, governmental agencies, or in-house legal departments
  • Background in product launches and advising on legal and regulatory aspects of product development in financial services or fintech
  • Experience with consumer lending products and consumer protection laws (UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA, TILA, SCRA/MLA, etc.)
  • Experience advising on servicing and collection requirements for consumer lending products (FDCPA, Regulation F)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Intellectual creativity and a problem-solving approach involving smart legal risks
  • JD from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state Bar

Pay Transparency Notice:

Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $320,000 - $351,875, plus equity and benefits.
