About the Role
As a QA Tester, you’ll be the first line of defense against bugs and usability issues. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand features, test functionality, and ensure our releases are reliable, intuitive, and bug-free. In a startup, things move fast—so we’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, flexible, and passionate about quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and document manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and designs.
- Identify, report, and track bugs in collaboration with the development team.
- Perform regression, smoke, exploratory, and usability testing across web and/or mobile platforms.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and release discussions to stay aligned with the team.
- Help build and evolve our QA process and tools as we grow.
- Advocate for a quality-first mindset across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 3+years of experience in software QA or testing (startup or agile environment preferred).
- Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or Selenium.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum workflows, and release cycles.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable testing web applications; mobile or cross-browser testing experience is a plus.
- Bonus: Basic scripting or automation experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
