This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographer who is passionate about patient care and diagnostic excellence.<br /></p><h3><br /></h3><div><b>Position Overview: PRN Monday - Friday </b><br /></div><div><b>​</b><br /></div><div>The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging exams, including but not limited to vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts imaging. Special procedures such as biopsies may also be required.<br /></div><h3><br /></h3><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br /></div><ul><li>Perform ultrasound exams and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation.<br /></li><li>Maintain a clean, sterile environment and properly manage equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety protocols.<br /></li><li>Transport patients to and from the exam room safely, while using proper body mechanics.<br /></li><li>Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and understanding.<br /></li><li>Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure that studies are accurately documented.<br /></li><li>Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as required.<br /></li></ul><h3><br /></h3><div><br /></div></span><br /><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements</h3><h3><b>Qualifications:</b><br /></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.<br /></li><li>Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise sufficient to meet department standards.<br /></li><li>ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty, or registry-eligible (must achieve certification within one year of hire).<br /></li><li>CPR certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire if not already current).<br /></li><li>Preferably at least one year of hospital-based experience.<br /></li><li>Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and function under stress.<br /></li></ul><h3><b>Physical Requirements:</b><br /></h3><ul><li>Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.<br /></li><li>Standing for extended periods and occasionally walking or bending.<br /></li></ul><p>If you are a compassionate and driven ultrasound technologist looking for a rewarding position, we invite you to apply!<br /></p><div><br /></div></span><br />PandoLogic.
