We are looking for a skilled and driven Process Engineer to develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start-up and certification. The ideal candidate will be analytical, hands-on, and a proactive problem solver with experience in Diebond/Wirebond within fast-paced optics or aerospace environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing and production processes to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Assess process performance through measurements, data analysis, and ongoing evaluation.
- Design, test, and upgrade systems and workflows to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and implement best practices, routines, and innovative solutions that enhance productivity and product quality.
- Conduct and interpret process simulations and experiments.
- Manage time, cost, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare clear documentation, including process flow diagrams, SOPs, and operating instructions.
- Solve complex, multi-faceted production and technical challenges.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as R&D, Product Engineering, and Product Line Management to validate requirements and ensure milestones are met.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry best practices.
- Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Diebond and Wirebond processes, ideally in a semiconductor, opto-electronics, or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proven analytical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and experience managing technical projects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments and at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Regular standing, walking, and sitting; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Close vision and attention to detail required.
- Work environment is typically quiet and controlled.
