Orchard Place is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our residential treatment team serving children and adolescents ages 10–17. Our inpatient program, licensed as a Psychiatric Medical Institution for Children (PMIC), offers a dynamic, team-based care model focused on trauma-informed treatment and recovery. You’ll work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing therapeutic services, helping youth heal and prepare for successful transitions back to their home or community settings.

Starting salary is $50,000. Salary may increase based on experience, education, and post-licensure qualifications.

Orchard Place therapists who have received their initial therapy license in the last 12 months or those who are currently in a master's program with one year or less remaining before graduation may qualify for up to $20,000 in student loan forgiveness from Polk County.

What You’ll Do:
Provide weekly individual and family therapy sessions
Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
Facilitate group therapy and therapeutic programming
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team
Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and families
Assist with transition planning and discharge coordination
What We’re Looking For:
Temporary or full license required: LISW, LMHC, LMFT (or LMSW with two years’ experience working with youth/families)
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Passion for working with children and adolescents in a trauma-informed environment
Valid Iowa driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Must pass background checks including criminal and abuse registry
Criminal, Abuse Registry and Motor Vehicle Records checks completed.
