Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (FNP or WHNP) to join our interdisciplinary Women’s Health team. The NP will provide direct clinical care in reproductive, sexual, and gynecologic health to patients across the lifespan, with a focus on underserved populations. This role is ideal for a provider who values advocacy, education, and holistic care in a community health setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive gynecologic and reproductive care, including well-woman exams, Pap smears, contraception management, STI screening and treatment, and pregnancy options counseling.
  • Perform in-office procedures such as IUD/implant insertions/removals.
  • Manage early prenatal care and support referrals.
  • Educate patients on sexual health, family planning, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health, social work, and case management staff to support patients’ overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records in compliance with clinical protocols and legal standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical case reviews.
  • Support community health outreach and educational events as needed.
  • Uphold trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and culturally competent care practices.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing and board certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Current, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in the state of New York
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in reproductive or women’s health
  • Passion for working with underserved and marginalized communities.
  • Commitment to reproductive justice, health equity, and patient-centered care.
