Short-Term WASHINGTON LICENSED Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist needed ASAP to help in a Washington Hospital. The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and other imaging modalities. Working under the direction of a radiologist or interventional physician, the IR Tech provides high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a sterile environment.

HealthCare Staffing Solutions (HCSS) is a national company that helps hospitals in crisis situations. We have some short-term assignments (3 to 7 days) coming up in Washington. In addition to a high hourly rate, we would also be paying for your travel, housing in a 4-5 star hotel, and a daily meal stipend. You would be working in a large acute hospital with several other Allied clinicians also working short term assignments to help take care of patients in need of your skills.

This will be an exciting, high-paying job that only lasts a few days. We have these types of assignments on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare patients and equipment for interventional procedures, ensuring appropriate positioning and sterile technique.
* Assist the radiologist during procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, stent placements, embolizations, drain placements, and other vascular and non-vascular interventions.
* Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment including fluoroscopy units, CT, and ultrasound machines.
* Administer contrast media under physician direction and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
* Maintain accurate procedural documentation and imaging records.
* Adhere to all infection control, safety, and radiation protection policies.
* Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with recovery as needed.
* Maintain equipment and inventory of supplies to ensure readiness for procedures.
* Participate in emergency and on-call coverage rotation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $115.00 per hour

Schedule:
* 12 hour shift
