Role Overview

Unifi is seeking driven and experienced Business Development Specialists to join our team and lead sales efforts across a designated region of airport locations. This individual will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with mid-sized airports and airlines, selling our comprehensive suite of aviation services.


This role requires a proactive, high-energy sales professional with a strong background in the aviation or airline industry. The ideal candidate thrives on closing deals, building relationships, and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment. This position offers a base salary along with a highly competitive commission plan designed to reward performance. Top achievers can expect to earn several multiples of their base compensation annually, with no cap on potential earnings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow our customer base among mid-sized airports and airlines.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through effective communication and customer engagement.
  • Present, promote, and sell aviation services to prospective clients with a deep understanding of their operational needs.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct negotiations, and close sales contracts to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and marketing teams to support successful client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and market feedback using CRM tools.


Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of sales or business development experience within the aviation or airline industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of airport and airline operational dynamics and service needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
