Job Title: Maintenance Technician - $30 - $35/hr
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining production machines and equipment. You will conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery, and you will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Your role will involve reading and interpreting equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Repair and replace photoeyes, sensors, switches, and relays.
Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems.
Repair and replace VFDs.
Work with electricity up to 480v.
Handle mechanical components such as bearings, gears, and sprockets.
Essential Skills
Mechanical and Electrical Troubleshooting
Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Blueprint and Schematic interpretation
Conveyor installation and repair
Experience with VFDs, photoeyes, sensors, relays, and switches
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in PLC control and electrical troubleshooting
Experience with industrial welding
Familiarity with 3-phase electrical systems
Capability in HVAC systems
