Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal with 3+ years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. You must have a strong working knowledge of family law procedures and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft financial affidavits, mandatory disclosure documents, and related financial documentation
- Organize and manage discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, document requests, and subpoenas
- Assist attorneys in case management, document preparation, and client communication
- Manage court filings, calendaring, and deadlines
- Prepare trial binders and assist with hearing and trial preparation
- Maintain accurate case files and billing records
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in family law
- Proficient in preparing financial affidavits, mandatory disclosure, and discovery documents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
