We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned food production professional who is passionate about driving operational excellence, fostering continuous improvement, and leading teams to success. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience in operations management, continuous improvement, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of our food manufacturing facility to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and quality.
2. Developing and implementing effective operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement and meet business objectives.
3. Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
4. Coordinating production planning and scheduling to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
5. Monitoring production performance metrics and implementing necessary corrective actions to address any issues or inefficiencies.
6. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to safety, quality, and environmental management.
7. Collaborating with other departments, such as Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering, to ensure seamless operations and achieve business goals.
8. Managing budget and resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of production management experience in the manufacturing industry.
2. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
3. Proven experience in operations management, continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma), and team leadership.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
5. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and industry regulations.
8. Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software.
