JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including the management of staff, inventory, shipping and receiving, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warehouse Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
- Oversee the warehouse budget, ensuring cost control for labor, equipment, and inventory.
- Manage all warehouse activities including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipment execution.
- Execute in an SAP/EWM WMS environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization and efficient workflows.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and operated a continuous improvement culture.
- Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Handle the ordering and replenishment of stock based on demand forecasts.
- Monitor and address discrepancies in inventory counts and report any issues.
- Management
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects related to warehousing.
- Develop clear, measurable objectives related to company goals and benchmark their attainment.
- Ensure that company policies are fully implemented and supported by plant procedures and practices.
- Accept additional responsibilities as needed in the support of company goals.
- Health Safety & Compliance
- Ensure that the warehouse operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning health and safety.
- Implement and monitor safety programs to reduce accidents, injuries, and damage to products.
- Conduct regular safety audits and staff training on proper warehouse safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., OSHA, Six Sigma).
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
- Forklift certification or experience with warehouse machinery.
